Today Celle is really a little jewel facing
the sea, placed in a harmonious small bay of
the western Riviera, a true "breath of Liguria,
between blue and green".It is a well equipped
seaside resort, developed along two sandy
shores where hills, rich in pine-trees, olive-trees
and coultivations, slope down to the sea.

Celle Ligure is extremely fascinating when you
enjoy the almost unchanged charm of the
medieval village.

It is attractive and lively for sea-lovers,
wishing to walk along its fine sandy beaches,
linked together by a green and flowering
promenade, more than one kilometre long.

It seems as it there were two souls living
together in this small village.

Today Celle consist of two well defined
and separate parts: the eastern part is modern,
full of hotels, villas, sport facilities and small
blocks of flats near a wide and sandy shore
overlooking the sea (Piani di Celle).

The latter part is made up
of the fishermen's ancient
village (historical centre), with
its small coloured houses,
lined up along the second
sandy shore, and of a
modern promenade, perfectly
harmonizing with the
historical environment around
it, with no clashing contrast.

In the extreme western part,
on a high rocky headland
there is a park in a pine-wood,
where you can thake short
trips and cool off in the shade,
as well as enjoying scenic
view point.
